A Little Bit of History

The Club was founded in 1980 with just one court, it has grown in leaps and bounds over the years
with a fifth court being added in 2012. As well as the construction of each additional court, the other
landmarks in the Club’s history have included Floodlighting (1990), Clubhouse (1996)

Artificial grass surfaces (1998) and the Clubhouse Extension in 2009. Since 2001 the club has run a very successful

Senior Open Tournament which is held at the beginning of September each year. A Junior Open
Tournament was added to the club calendar in 2008 which has grown in stature and reputation
among other clubs over that period.

Club Nights for Members

Social Club Nights

Every Tuesday year round and every Thursday during the Summer, we have club night from 7 p.m.  This is a walk in session where you can come at any time and are paired with some for a game of doubles.  All abilities welcome.  You don’t  need to bring balls just your racket.  It is casual and fun and a great chance to meet other members of the club.

Internal Leagues :

During the Autumn and Spring, the club hosts internal leagues on Thursdays, starting at 7pm. These leagues are for internal members and are team based. The scores for each team are recorded each week and the top 4 teams will meet in a play off on the final night of the leagues.
